Map shows the shoreline and profile of the river bed in 1861 and 1866, revealing the slow filling in of the river channel with sediment. Plan acccompanied a written report included in the "Annual Report of the Chief Engineer of the Water Department of the City of Philadelphia, presented to Councils Jan. 31, 1867."
