Centennial Exhibition situation plan, 1876

This detailed plan shows the underpinnings of the 1876 Centennial Exhibition, held in West Fairmount Park. Sewer and water lines are both shown, as is the Centennial Pumping Station, on the Schuylkill River, which supplied water for the fountains, lakes, and many water features of the event.
