The accompanying illustration (shows) one of the outlets at Laurel Street of the Cohocksink sewer system. It is estimated that sewage from a population of 260,000 people, amounting to 60,000,000 gallons a day, is discharged from this 18 feet 6-inch diameter sewer into the confined dock.
